About

Teacher, Speaker and Style Coach is how Karen likes to be described.  Early on she knew that she wanted to be a teacher, she just never knew that it would present itself in the form of fashion!

As a young girl she learned to sew and loved fashion.  Creating and making her own clothes fulfilled a creative side.  Tutoring and mentoring fulfilled the teacher side. When Julia Child’s obituary revealed that she began her business at 50 years of age; Karen said to all that would listen “I have time to do this”.  So it was with a passion for fashion and an uncharted quest for knowledge that she began her business.

As a teacher, speaker and style coach, Karen focuses on teaching women to understand how to use their core style. She launched Style Camp and the rest was history.  She is currently working on developing courses for Style YOUniversity and online tools but her motto is and has always been “look good, feel great and have fun doing it!”

With a decade of teaching and support in a corporate environment and becoming a Certified Image Professional, she has now dedicated her life to teaching women the skills they need to learn how to build a wardrobe that will sustain all their lifestyle events.  Whether you are a corporate executive, stay at home mom, or a retired woman, we are passionate about developing the tools that you can use each and everyday.
